Open Space settings

Only users with the required Jira project administration permission should configure actions.

1. Open Jira Service Management.
2. Open the target company-managed space.
3. Select Space settings.
4. Select Apps → Portal edits for Jira Service Management.
5. Review the existing actions.

The configuration page lists actions for the current project. Actions are stored per project, so an action configured in one project does not automatically appear in another project.

Create an action

Select Create Portal action to open the action configuration form.

Request action title

Enter a title that customers will understand.

• Maximum length: 30 characters.
• Use a verb-oriented title where possible.
• Prefer Update request details over Action 1.
• Avoid internal terminology that customers will not recognize.
